The St Albans School Sports Centre Project completed ready for full School use in September 2012.   The new development, designed by the late David Morgan, a former pupil of St Albans School, includes a 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness and weights suite with 26 stations and a sports hall with four international standard badminton courts and basketball hoops. 

The project has been a triumph of organisation, on budget and on time with Elite Tiling Ltd carrying out the Pool Tiling Surround, Changing Rooms and Showers floors and walls with bands of blue and yellow to echo the School colours.  Duncan Goodhew formally opened the new sports centre at St Albans School in the presence of the headmaster, Andrew Grant, and a host of dignitaries including The Mayor of St Albans.

Pool Surround & Changing Room floors: Kerastar RT25, RT62,  300 x300 Floor Tiles with a contrasting KER6 Cove Skirting

Wall Tiling: Johnsons PRG1, PRG52 and PRV3 Ceramic Gloss Tiles

All areas fixed & finished with Norcros Adhesive & Grouts and Schluter Trims – Epoxy Grout to the Floor Finishes.
